Patients who seek breast surgery usually fall in one of three categories. One, they may have breasts that are too small and do not bring the right balance to their body. Two, they may have had drooping of their breasts, which they no longer find attractive either in clothes or out of clothes, and three, are patients who have problems with large breasts that really get in the way of their daily activities. All three groups have one thing in common and that is an imbalance of the chest with the rest of the body. The appropriate operation for these patients is to bring that balance back to the body.
